This OEM (original equipment manufacturer) universal pressure balance cartridge 974-042 can be used with 0X8/JX8/VB8/JV8 deep casting valves. This cartridge is equipped with forever seal - advanced ceramic disc valve technology with a never leak guarantee. If your faucet leaks from the tub spout when it is turned off, then consider replacing your faucet cartridge. Fix the leak and replace the cartridge instead of replacing the entire faucet.

  • Universal pressure balance cartridge also works with the Pfister 0X8/JX8/VB8/JV8 deep casting valves

  • Cartridge has a ceramic disc valve and can be used with the OX8 series tub and shower trim

  • 1-piece cartridge for easy retrofit or repair
