The SharkBite HG-110D Thermostatic Mixing Valve mixes hot water with cold to deliver tempered water at a controlled and safe temperature of 120°F. In addition to protecting your home from scalding hot water the valve will increase the Hot Water Systems capacity, delivering more usable hot water throughout your home. In addition by allowing the Water Heaters set temperature to be increased to 140°F you can protect your home from the number one cause of legionella bacteria growth; water stored at temperatures of 68°F to 113°F; this bacteria cannot survive at temperatures of 140°F and higher. Integrated SharkBite Connections work with Copper, PEX, or CPVC in any combination and require no glue, tools, unions or solder. Get the SharkBite HG-110 Mixing Valve and protect your home from scalding, increase hot water system capacity, and protect against legionella bacteria.
