This chlorine-free shock works fast to clarify pool water and reduce odors and swimmer skin and eye irritation. It can also be used in traditional pools. Salt pool shock such as this one helps destroy organic contaminants without affecting chlorine levels. Salt pool owners enjoy the softer feeling of their pool water, and this shock helps keep the pool comfortable. Even though it doesn't directly fight algae or bacteria, it helps the salt's chlorine fight these invaders by destroying contaminants. Apply this pool shock without chlorine to your salt pool during your weekly pool maintenance routine. 1 bag per 10,000 Gal: broadcast in pool's deepest area with filter and pump on. Run filter and pump for 4-8 hrs. Apply in the morning or evening when no one is swimming. For maintenance, plan on testing your water and applying balancers, shock, and a sanitizer.
