Die Zementplatte der Marke USG Durock mit EdgeGuard bietet Architekten, Bauherren und Fliesenlegern eine starke, wasserbeständige Fliesenbasis für Wannen- und Duschbereiche. Auch eine ideale Unterlage für Fliesen auf Böden und Arbeitsplatten bei Neubauten und Umbauten. Die Platte lässt sich problemlos mit korrosionsbeständigem Holz, Stahlschrauben oder feuerverzinkten Dachnägeln im Abstand von 16 Zoll auf einem Holz- oder Stahlrahmen anbringen. Nach der Fugenbehandlung werden Wand- oder Bodenfliesen mit latexverstärktem Mörtel oder organischem Klebstoff vom Typ I aufgetragen.
