Der SharkBite Heat Guard 160 ist ein leistungsstarkes thermostatisches Mischventil, das heißes Wasser mit kaltem Wasser mischt, um temperiertes Wasser mit konstanter Temperatur zu liefern. Der SharkBite Heatguard 160 soll Warmwasser mit kontrollierter Temperatur an jede Steckdose liefern, die ein höheres Maß an Schutz erfordert. Das Ventil ist für einzelne Point-of-Use-Anwendungen von Drittanbietern gelistet. Der SharkBite Heatguard 160 verfügt über ein schnell reagierendes Thermostatelement für hervorragende Kontrolle. Das Thermostatelement erfasst die Auslasswassertemperatur und reagiert, um eine konstante Vorlauftemperatur auch bei wechselnden Durchflussmengen oder Schwankungen der Vorlauftemperaturen oder -drücke aufrechtzuerhalten. Das Ventil reduziert auch den Auslassfluss auf ein Rinnsal, wenn die Kaltwasserversorgung ausfällt.
