Der Bosch GWX18V-8 ist ein ergonomischer X-LOCK-Winkelschleifer, der Mobilität, Leistung und besten Bedienkomfort vereint. Sein bürstenloser Motor bietet eine Leistung von 8,0 Ampere und einen höheren Wirkungsgrad, der Laufzeit und Produktivität maximiert. Es verfügt über die X-LOCK-Halterung und bietet eine Radwechselschnittstelle, die bis zu fünfmal schneller ist als herkömmliche Schnittstellen. Bei der Montage einer X-LOCK-Scheibe an einer X-LOCK-Schleifmaschine ist ein hörbares Einrasten zu hören. Das Rad lässt sich ordnungsgemäß montieren, ohne dass ein Schraubenschlüssel oder Flanschmuttern erforderlich sind. Durch Ziehen eines Hebels wird die Schleifscheibe von der Schleifmaschine gelöst. Der 18-V-Schleifer verfügt über einen Neustartschutz, um ein versehentliches Starten beim Batteriewechsel zu verhindern, über eine Softstart-Technologie zur Reduzierung des Anlaufdrehmoments und zur Erleichterung von Schnitten sowie über einen Überlastschutz, um das Risiko einer Überlastung oder Überhitzung des Motors zu verringern sorgen für eine reibungslose Kraftübertragung bei Schleifanwendungen. Es verfügt außerdem über einen werkzeuglos verstellbaren Schutz und einen aktualisierten Getriebemontagekragen, der jetzt mit allen Bosch-Schneidschutzvorrichtungen für Metall und Beton kompatibel ist. Dieses Werkzeug verfügt über einen seitlichen Griff mit zwei Positionen und ein schlankes Soft-Grip-Design.
