Der Flow-Filterrahmen besteht aus schwerer Spanplatte in einem einteiligen Design, das eine Eckentrennung verhindert. Das Filtermedium besteht aus gesponnenem Endlosfilamentglas. Das synthetische Medium des Filters besteht aus Endlosfilament-Polyester. Ein harzhaltiges Bindemittel sorgt für Steifigkeit und Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Medienkompression. Der Filter funktioniert ohne Halterung, indem der Rahmen direkt auf das Medium geklebt wird, das über eine leichte Haut verfügt, um es selbsthaltend zu machen. Die Versiegelung erfolgt mit einem elastischen Schmelzklebstoff, der sich sowohl auf der Anström- als auch der Abströmseite über den gesamten Umfang des Rahmens erstreckt.
